The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Teacher of Biology & Chemistry to join our science department. The ideal candidate will have a strong subject knowledge, a creative approach to teaching, and the ability to engage students at all levels. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that support student progress and ignite a curiosity for the natural world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Biology and Chemistry across the Junior and Senior Schools.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that enables students to achieve their potential.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and department initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and innovative teaching practices.
The ideal Candidate will:
- Hold a relevant teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS or equivalent).
- Have a strong academic background in Biology and Chemistry.
- Demonstrate a passion for science and an ability to inspire young learners.
- Possess excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Be committed to ongoing professional development and collaboration with colleagues.
