Management Accountant

Reed Finance are proud to be working with a company in Wetherby who are looking for a Management Accountant to join their team. This is a key position in the finance team, responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting, analysis and decision support to the Senior Leadership Team and site management.
Salary: £40k-£47k
Qualifications: Fully qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA or CPA
You will play a vital role in the month-end process, cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and maintaining strong internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts
- Provide clear financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making
- Support the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
- Promote strong cost control across the business
- Assist with inventory management, including coordinating stock counts, ensuring accurate valuation, and investigating discrepancies
- Support internal controls in line with Group policies and assist with audit and compliance requirements
- Partner with operational teams, offering financial guidance, challenge, and support to improve performance
- Identify and drive opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency
- Fully qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or CPA)
- Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing or similar role
- Proven experience delivering monthly accounts to tight deadlines
- Highly motivated, proactive, and results-driven
- Confident in challenging processes and driving continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
