Management Accountant

About Our Client

This is a fantastic opportunity for Part Qualified or ACCA/CIMA/ACA Finalist candidate to join a high performing Leeds based finance team. My client is a well known player in their industry, known for a top quality working culture and providing clear progression pathways for their employees.

• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, including accruals and prepayments.
• Support the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Contribute to the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Assist with maintaining the fixed asset register and processing depreciation.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice management.
• Support the preparation of VAT returns and other regulatory reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and responses.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Accountant should have:

• Actively studying towards their ACCA, ACA, CIMA qualifications
• Have previous experience in a fast paced, month end related role
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Enthusiasm for developing a career in accounting and finance.
