Strategic & Financial Planning Business Partner - McDonald's
The key role of the Strategic & Financial Planning Business Partner is to support, challenge and drive long term strategic priorities, playing a key role in formulating and understanding the key pivotal initiatives which will drive long-term sales growth and profitability.
The remit is broad, touching on many different aspects of the business. This involves working closely with both Finance and non-Finance senior management to drive performance of the business as well as conducting detailed analysis to deliver insights and set our strategic direction.What will my accountabilities be? Responsibilities are varied and change regularly within the team, but do include the following:Business partner with our Supply Chain team from a finance perspective, including areas such as procurement and logistics, sustainability and currency and energy hedgingSupport on long-term crew and management pay strategy with the People teamSupport on long term pricing strategy and management of the pricing process for restaurantsLead reporting and reviews of franchisee financial performanceSupport on critical initiatives such as McDelivery, CRM & DigitalSupport reinvestment and affordability strategies, ensure franchisees have access to lending for reinvestment through strong relationships with main Banking partnersPlay a key, proactive, role in engaging with franchisees holding quarterly business updates and regular presentations to franchisee communitySupport the annual financial planning processAreas of focus for the team are leading on:Pay strategyCurrency and energy risk managementSupply Chain financeMcDeliveryRe-investment appraisalBusiness case development & appraisalFranchisee performanceWhat Team will I be a part of?
