I am currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor for work with a Multidiscipline UK Construction Contractor based in London. Prepare cost forecasts for labour, plant and materials on a regular basis to ensure margins are being maintained throughout the project.
Procurement of materials, plant and subcontracts at best value.
Placement of material and subcontract orders.
Reviewing subcontract valuations and variations to ensure best value and maximisation of cash.
Be involved in estimating duties where necessary to support the Commercial team.
Ensure all records and files are up to date and comprehensive.
Maximise margins by re-measurement and methodical pricing of variations where necessary.
Prepare monthly valuations for individual projects.
Experienced in JCT form of contract
Previous experience working within Construction or similar.
This role is open to a contract or a permanent position for the right candidate.
This role would include but not be limited to the below
Prepare monthly financial reports for individual projects, current and predicted, cost, value and margin for internal reporting.Prepare cost forecasts for labour, plant and materials on a regular basis to ensure margins are being maintained throughout the project.

The Ideal Candidate will have
Experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Junior Surveyor or similarExperienced in JCT form of contract
Previous experience working within Construction or similar.
Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
