CNC Miller Setter/Operator
Location: Hitchin
Hours: Mon Thurs 8am 4:30pm
FRI 8am 3pm
Pay Rate: £32,000 - £40,500
We are currently recruiting for a CNC Miller Setter for our client in Hitchin. A highly regarded market leader in the Automotive and pharmaceutical industries, specialising in subcontract manufacture of highly precision machined components. Looking to take on an experienced CNC Miller - Setter Operator, due to continued and aggressive expansion and re-investment into brand new machines.
**Whats the job?**- Experienced CNC Miller Setter/Operator
- Fanuc & Heidenhain controls
- Quality focused working to a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to read and interpret drawings
- Checking for tool wear or breakage and replacing tools when needed.
- Ensuring efficient cycle times while maintaining quality standards.
- Excellent awareness of health and safety aspects at work
- Ensuring smooth production processes
- Verifying that finished components meet tight tolerances and specifications
- Making necessary adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy
- 10+ Years experience in CNC machining
- Setting and Operating CNC Milling machines experience
- Fanuc and/or Heidenhain experience advantageous
- Working with various materials including Ali and Steel
- Good communication skills.
