As our HR MI Data Analyst, you will be working within a small, dynamic team involved in the production of accurate and timely management information (MI) reports and analysis of data, ensuring that reports are presented in an engaging and clear format to both internal and external stakeholders, such as Cabinet Office and the Department for Transport.

We’ll look to you to develop and provide regular MI reports, drawing on a range of DVLA related data sources/systems. You will provide data for Parliamentary Questions, Freedom of Information requests, as well as responding to requests for data from operational colleagues as required.

This is a fast-paced, varied, and demanding role. You will need to be someone who enjoys working with large operational datasets and understands the importance of reporting legislation in line with GDPR and Data Protection. You will be a strong team player, with a positive attitude and be highly resilient.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring effective quality assurance has been undertaken on all work and that appropriate caveats are made clear, to guarantee the accuracy of reporting and correct interpretation. Quality assuring the work of others and challenging when required.
  • Developing/modifying new and existing management information reports including the production of dashboards.
  • Extraction of reports from SAP and other HR systems.
  • Providing analysis and commentary on data trends and any issues identified. Including communication with stakeholders and business areas to ensure accurate and relevant analysis is achieved.
