Procurement Manager

I am recruiting for a leading food manufacturer in Norfolk who are looking for a highly experienced Procurement Manager to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company objectives.
• Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions.
• Monitor market trends and identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand their procurement needs and provide support.
• Maintain accurate records and reports on procurement activities.

Requirements for the role:

• Proven experience as a Procurement Manager is essential.
• Experience in sourcing food and food ingredients across and exposure to Indirect sub-categories.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Experienced in sourcing categories across multiple geographies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Work with supply chain stakeholders to ensure business continuity, and with commercial, production and technical stakeholders to deliver cost reduction objectives and innovation needs.
• The ability to develop and maintain strong supplier relationships
