Senior Specialist Clinical Pharmacist (PICU & NICU)

As a key member of the pharmacy team, you will provide high quality, patient focused, clinical pharmacy services which consistently meet the needs of all service users. As a Senior Specialist Pharmacist, you will be responsible for working across all aspects of the core pharmacy services which may include provision of medicines management, advice and evidence-based practice to inpatients and outpatients, patient and aseptic services, risk management and clinical governance.
You will be responsible for: Leading and developing specialist services to Paediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Leading on drug validation and configuration for ICCA prescribing system Leading on and developing drug validation and configuration for Meditech Expanse prescribing system Providing expert advice on pharmaceutical matters in PICU and NICU Participating in clinical audits and transformation projects Deputising for Lead Clinical Pharmacist when required Leading on education and training for junior pharmacy staff members Leading on education and training for the wider MDT in specialist field You will be involved in the continuous service and professional development, audit and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs).
