About

We’re looking for an Assistant Management Accountant who can support our finance team by maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with month-end processes. This role is vital to helping our delivery of precise and timely financial reports.

Our finance team drives financial excellence by providing accurate and timely financial information, through optimised processes. It plays a key role in ensuring the financial health of the company, to ensure it can continue to grow and achieve it’s strategic goals.

It’s a time of BIG change in finance with new systems and AI-focused process improvement, to ensure we position ourselves for the future.

The Role

By joining our team you’ll:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions
  • Review invoices, payments, and expenses promptly and accurately
  • Maintain and update financial ledgers and records
  • Conduct budget and forecast variance analysis
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve financial queries
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required

What you can bring to our team:

  • AAT qualification or studying towards ACCA/CIMA is desirable
  • Previous experience in a similar finance or accounts role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, Oracle)
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Effective communication and teamworking abilities
