The company is seeking an experienced Non-executive Director to join its board, offering robust oversight and constructive challenge.
Time commitment: (aprox. 8 days a year)Type of Employment: Contract
Requirements
Your key responsibilities as a Non-executive Director will be:
- Provide additional oversight and challenge to the FEI board
- Bring alternate perspective on strategy
- Attend and contribute to board meetings and discussions
- Take part in collective board decisions, providing input and challenge
- Contribute observations on performance of management in meeting agreed goals and objectives
- Monitor the reporting of performance
- Help ensure financial controls and systems of risk management are robust and defensible
- Assist in the review and scrutiny of FEI policies
- Provide objective views on resources, appointments and standards of conduct
To join us as a Non-executive Director you will need the following experience and skills:
- You will have direct experience of investment management
- You will have experience of multi asset products and their purpose
- You will have experience of sitting on investment management governance committees
- You will have previous or current directorship experience
- You will have knowledge of systems and controls in investment management
- You will be familiar with the UK retail distribution landscape and IFAs
- You will have understanding of risk control frameworks
