Investigator - Op Warden

• Pay Rate: £20.84 PAYE
• Location: Greater Manchester Police, Ashton-under-Lyne, OL7
• Job Type: Temporary (2 - 3 months with the possibility of extension)

Greater Manchester Police are seeking an Investigation OP Warden to join their team. This role is crucial in the investigation of antisemitic and other priority hate crime offences. The successful candidate will manage cases to a PIP 2 standard, including complex investigations, particularly during periods of increased demand linked to key events and community tensions.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Responsible for end-to-end case management including victim engagement, safeguarding, evidence gathering, and case building.
• Work collaboratively with established Investigation Teams, Neighbourhood Policing, and specialist partners to deliver a consistent and high-quality investigative response.
• Engage closely with the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) and criminal justice partners to ensure effective case progression.
• Collaborate with Warden teams to ensure consistency and shared best practice across all operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in managing complex investigations, preferably within a policing or similar law enforcement environment.
• Proven ability to handle sensitive and high-priority cases.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective victim engagement and partnership working.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic situations.
• Full Police vetting will be required.
