About the Role: Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a vibrant educational setting in Tiverton. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring they receive the necessary assistance to thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN.
- Assisting in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
- Encouraging and promoting independence and confidence among students.
- Collaborating effectively with teachers and other support staff to create a positive learning environment.
- Previous experience working with children or young adults with SEN, either in an educational or care setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the development of young people.
