We are looking for someone who will provide excellent customer service through our branch network, promoting our products and services, whilst identifying opportunities to drive process efficiency to benefit the Society and our customers.

Location: Head office based in Tipton, with branches located in Coseley, Bilston and Sedgley, flexibility is required to work at any of our branches.
Hours: Permanent full-time position working 35 hours per week including 2 out of 3 Saturdays.

In this role you will:

  • Provide excellent customer service, embracing the principles of Treating Customers Fairly, and our values.
  • Produce high quality and accurate work including all cashiering functions and standing data.
  • Make a contribution to our Mortgage and Protection referral targets.
  • Take responsibility for your own actions, deadlines and targets, ensuring good customer outcomes.
  • Be well organised, able to show initiative and resourcefulness and be a flexible team player with an ability to work under pressure both in a team and independently.
  • Adopt a positive approach towards customers and colleagues.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, demonstrating the ability deal with third parties, colleagues and our customers professionally.
  • A right first-time approach with a desire to demonstrate accountability and ownership through completion of tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Computer skills to enable you to use a variety of different systems and software (training will be provided).
  • A good understanding of what a customer service advisor role within a financial organisation entails.
  • Full driving license as travel between branches is required.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5 GCSE’s at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C) or equivalent, including Maths and English Language.
  • Previous experience of working in a customer service environment, preferably in a similar role.
  • Good computer skills to enable you to use a variety of different systems and software, including Microsoft Office.
