Principal Objectives

The Senior Marketing Campaign Manager reports to the Head of Strategic Services and is responsible for driving successful outcomes for Vista Group’s marketing stakeholder cinema clients in the EMEA region. They will oversee the delivery of marketing campaign requirements (Operational Services) and strategic marketing support (Strategic Services) to clients in EMEA, as well as proactively support clients in the use of Vista Group’s marketing-facing products.

The role involves working closely with client marketing stakeholders, the Account Management team, and cross-functional teams in Data Science, Product, and Film.

This is an 8 month Fixed Term PAYE Contract (to cover Parental Leave).

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Services:

  • Oversee the day-to day running of Operational Services in EMEA, managing team resource allocation, ensuring established processes are followed, and acting as the point of escalation. Create and execute targeted marketing campaigns where required, including campaign planning, audience targeting and approved asset acquisition. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of client campaigns, playing an active role in generating insights and recommendations about clients’ communication strategies.

Strategic Services:

  • Provide project-based strategic support to Vista Group cinema clients, including loyalty programme analysis and development, and marketing campaign strategy.

Customer Engagement:

  • Develop and maintain positive and proactive working relationships that are built on the knowledge and understanding of clients’ needs. Drive clients’ strategic marketing objectives through the use of Vista Group products and services.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • In collaboration with Account Management, ensure cinema clients are maximizing their use of Movio by supporting with regular account reviews, client training, and planning sessions. Working with the Data Science team, shape relevant client-specific moviegoer analysis to inform their marketing strategy.

Subject Matter Expertise:

  • Act as a subject matter expert on cinema industry trends, particularly as they pertain to digital marketing and the use of moviegoer data. Support the Head of Strategic Services with growth opportunities related to exhibitor and distributor collaboration via Vista Group products and services, as well as building out the Marketing Subject Matter Expert team within Vista Group.

Continuous Learning:

  • Stay updated with industry trends, foster internal knowledge and expertise, sharing the latest news and developments in the cinema space, as well as client feedback and needs.

Requirements

Person specification:

  • An interest in film marketing and the movie industry
  • Effective team player, able to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to deliver the best outcomes for our clients and your team
  • A strong communicator who builds trust with clients through an open, honest and constructive communication style
  • Ability to interpret data and understand applications of Big Data for targeted marketing purposes
  • Motivated, self-starter – driven to work in a fast-paced, global technology company that is challenging the status quo and shaping the future of movie marketing
Qualification and experience prerequisites
  • A minimum of 5 years' proven experience within the cinema or film industry, working in marketing or sales
  • Advanced understanding of digital marketing and CRM
  • Strong knowledge of targeted marketing and consumer analytics
  • Strong soft skills with an emphasis on relationship building
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or related field
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
