About the Role

We have recently reviewed our leadership structures and have created a new role of Operations Manager to support the delivery of our services to Children. We have also implemented a number of new additional team manager positions across our social work teams supporting the service.

As Operations Manager, you will play an active role as part of the service team working in partnership with our Commissioning services to innovate our service delivery capabilities. You will support the Head of Service and other senior leaders in achieving our organisational vision and outcomes.

You will directly line manage the Team Managers and teams to meet the outcomes of the service delivery plan. Developing and maintaining good working relationships with our key stakeholders including statutory partners, service providers, voluntary sector, and customers.

These roles will be based in our modern offices at Chelmunds Place and the Bluebell Centre, Chelmsley Wood.

About You

As a Operations Manager you will also need a management qualification or equivalent level of management experience.

You will be a Professional Social Worker, holding a Qualification, Social Work England registration and significant post qualifying experience, and you will be looking for a new challenge in a caring forward-thinking organisation.

You will have also experience of operational management, delivery of performance objectives and a good understanding of performance and standards, the service performance framework and professional practice and quality.

You will have experience of people management, including workforce planning and workforce development, and partnership working. Along with experience of budget management demonstrating you meet budget, savings, and income targets.

You will hold a driving licence and own your own vehicle, as this is an essential car user post due to the demands of the job. For disabled applicants, reasonable adjustments will be made where required.

You will also be committed to delivering a high quality transparent service and ensuring the wellbeing of children, young people, and their families.
