Working for one of the premier care home providers in the UK, you will be working in their stunning care home in Billingshurst, West Sussex. The purpose built 56-bedroom home provides residential, nursing and dementia care for elderly adults with a person-centred approach and is approximately a 20-minute drive from Horsham.
Understand and communicate dietary needs to the Head Chef.

Able to commute daily to Billingshurst, West Sussex on a daily basis
Happy to work 40 hours (4 shifts) over a 7-day period or Part-time 2/3 10 hour shifts per week.

To join their team in the kitchen we are looking to recruit a Kitchen Assistant / Kitchen Porter on a full-time or part-time basis who will play a crucial role in ensuring the residents receive high-quality meals and that they meet their dietary requirements.
Responsibilities: Prepare food under the Head Chef's supervision.
Assist with food delivery and service as needed.Understand and communicate dietary needs to the Head Chef.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and a professional appearance.
Promote and protect the welfare of service users.
