Sales Advisor

Day-to-day of the role:

• Provide a high level of customer service over the telephone.
• Secure orders by converting calls into confirmed orders.
• Upsell products/services wherever practicably possible.
• Process orders and bookings efficiently.
• Take payment details and process payments securely.
• Handle customer enquiries and queries with professionalism.
• Perform various general office administration duties.
• Support other team members as needed.

• Excellent telephone manner – remaining friendly, polite, and professional at all times.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and IT skills.
• Very good attention to detail to ensure accuracy of information, such as correct address, postcode, contact name, contact numbers, and location details.
• Proven sales experience with a solid understanding of the sales process and upselling.
• Good organisational skills, with the ability to use own initiative.
• Hardworking, conscientious, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive, motivated, and proactive attitude.
• Reliable, flexible, and adaptable to varying workloads.
• Ability to remain calm and patient under pressure.

• 25 days holiday, increasing to 27 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years of service.

• 9 hours each day, including an hour’s unpaid lunch break.
• Shift patterns between 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
