Civil Engineer
FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry for an experienced Civil Engineer or Senior Civil Engineer to produce civil design documents and drawings taking due account of health and safety requirements, specifications and standards pertaining to the contract.

Civil Engineer or Senior Civil Engineer role:
- Play a crucial role in the design, development, and execution of civil engineering projects within the water and wastewater industry.
Civil Engineer or Senior Civil Engineer responsibilities:
- Oversee efficient construction, ensuring quality civil layouts, structural arrangement’s, and specifications for safe, cost-effective projects.
- Coordination of designs with other disciplines and use of resources both internal and external
- Develop and review civil and structural 3D engineering models
- Maintain files and records throughout the duration of contracts
- Provide technical support to construction teams
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Civil Engineer or Senior Civil Engineer requirements:
- Proven experience in civil engineering design within the water industry
- Membership of a professional institution chartered or nearing chartership
- Preferable: Civil Engineering degree
- Minimum: Civil Engineering HND
- Ability to optimize and design plant layouts economically
