Service Desk Analyst - German Speaking
Location: Chester, UK
Remuneration: £19 p/hour
Contract Details: Rolling 12-month contract
Working Pattern: Full Time
Our client, a leading organisation in the IT industry, is seeking a talented Service Desk Analyst who is fluent in German and has excellent customer service skills. As a member of their Specialty Service Desk, you will provide technical and application support to their global team.
Responsibilities:
- Accept and handle incoming calls, chats, and tickets, redirecting to relevant support groups as needed.
- Provide IT support to employees and partners in EMEA and globally.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and business process issues.
- Utilise the Knowledgebase to address inquiries and contribute to its expansion.
- Act as a SME/POC for other team members.
- Participate in testing, upgrades, and internal projects.
- Occasionally assist with translation reviews.
What you bring to the team:
- Native or near-native fluency in German, with good command of English.
- Strong troubleshooting and research skills.
- Ability to explain technical information in a clear and concise manner.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks.
- Adherence to Service Desk processes and procedures.
- Positive and flexible team player.
Qualifications/Experiences:
- Minimum High School Diploma; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Basic understanding of ITIL Framework and ITSM.
- Prior experience in technical support or a Service Desk environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Windows.
- Experience supporting Life Sciences is a plus.
In addition, candidates must be willing to:
- Work flexible hours, including rotating shifts.
- Work from the office at least 50% of the time.
- Occasionally work on Bank Holidays.
