Job overview

St Gabriel’s C of E School is a ‘good’ school (Ofsted Nov 2023) and is frequently described as ‘an oasis’. Ofsted reported the following: ‘’Pupils’ behaviour meets the school’s high expectations. Their attitudes to learning are exemplary. Pupils are kind and respectful towards adults, and towards each other.’ And reported that staff ‘are proud to be a part of this school.

They value the kind and open culture which they say threads through everything that happens in the school.’ We are situated in central London, a short walk from the museums and shops of the West End, with views of the Thames and the new Battersea Power Station development.

We are excited to create this new position at St Gabriel’s, combining a role that is both office and class based, with the duties of an administrative support officer and teaching assistant combined. • is able to develop positive relationships with pupils and parents
  • is able to problem solve, remain calm and can prioritise when met with a variety of challenges
  • is a good communicator, is computer literate and is experienced in inputting data in data management systems

We can offer:

  • Well behaved, friendly and engaged pupils
  • A supportive management structure, committed to staff well-being and excellent CPD opportunities
  • A rewarding, exciting and challenging job opportunity
