Self-employed, initially 3 hours per week, responsible for delivering small group lessons to Year 7 pupils
Maida Vale School Music Department is seeking an experienced woodwind teacher on a self-employed basis to commence in November 2024. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading pupils to achieve outstanding results, in terms of both general progress, solo and ensemble performance and, where appropriate, in Rock School/Trinity/ABRSM exam results.

Our Music Department comprises bespoke practice rooms, rehearsal/class teaching rooms, and recording and performance spaces, with the equipment to facilitate everything from classical quartets to rock gigs.
Curriculum
Our Music curriculum starts with a two-year Key Stage 3 in which Music is taught to mixed ability classes in Years 7 and 8 for 90 minutes every week.
