Job overview
You will promote a customer focused approach to receiving patients and visitors to therapy clinics, providing a courteous, responsive and effective first point of contact both in person and by telephone for patients, carers and healthcare professionals.
You will prioritise, plan and organise daily workload as part of an administration team, ensuring that daily tasks and ongoing workload/projects are appropriately prioritised and completed within agreed and acceptable timescales.
Main duties of the job
Provide effective and efficient administrative and reception support to the therapy inpatient and outpatient services, ensuring that administration processes meet the needs of all service users and the Trust.

Person specification
Education/ Qualifications
Essential criteria- Good educational standard of at least GCSE in English or Maths or equivalent Qualifications equivalent to NVQ L3.
- Reception/customer service training
- Relevant administration training
Experience
Essential criteria- Demonstrable customer service experience
- Experience of prioritising work and workload to meet service core requirements and or deadlines
- Previous experience of working in a healthcare or NHS setting
- Experience dealing with people in healthcare or other stressful environments
- Experience with information databases
Skills/Knowledge/ Abilities
Essential criteria- Basic computer literacy
- Keyboard skills for use with multiple systems
- Good organisational skills
- Microsoft Excel
- ICHIS/Cerner/PAS experience
