You will be a key part of a small team, supporting the Risk, Issues and Opportunities Manager by organising and tracking risks, issues & opportunities across the business function and meeting stakeholders of various levels across the organisation regularly to assess risk and mitigation plans and report progress to senior team.
You will provide specialist risk knowledge, expertise, and support to a network of risk champions, supporting the tactical deployment of the corporate risk enterprise model (incl.processes and tools) within the business function.
Who are we looking for?
We do need you to have the following: Prior working experience in risk management is essentialExcellent Stakeholder Management skillsThe confidence to present progress to a senior audience Whilst not to be considered a tick list, we/d like you to have experience in some of the following:Experience using a Active Risk Manager (ARM) system or similar.Able to interpret tactical level data/information to support decision making.Experience of coaching others to aid understanding of risk and opportunity management approaches.Ability to multitask and prioritise workloads.Good analytical capability with a keen eye for detail and good problem-solving skills.
You/ll need to have the ability to work calmly and constructively in a priority changing environment and be able to manage your own workload.You will also have initiative, enthusiasm, a flexible approach, and ability to work to tight deadlines.
