JOB TITLE: Security Officer
LOCATION: New Square Shopping Centre, West Bromwich, B70 7PP
SHIFT PATTERN: 5on 2 off, 45 hours per week or 48 hours per week
ABM delivers these custom facility solutions to properties across a wide range of industries – from commercial office buildings to schools, airports, hospitals, data centres, manufacturing plants and distribution centres, entertainment venues and more.

SHIFT PATTERN: 5on 2 off, 45 hours per week or 48 hours per week
PAY RATE: £11.55 per hour
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a safe & secure environment at all times.
- Acting as a visual deterrent.
- Applying and conducting oneself at all times in accordance to the onsite Assignment Instructions (AIs) and Emergency Instructions.
- Complete report books and all relevant company and on-site paperwork.
- Communicate all Incidents to Security Team Leader/Manager and Site Management.
- Dealing with hostile members of the public to resolve a conflict situation.
- Patrolling and monitoring from a loss prevention aspect.
- Completing Health & Safety checks.
- Communicating with Internal Clients.
- Promoting good customer service at all times.
- CCTV Camera monitoring (CCTV Licensed personnel only)
- Monitoring of the alarm system.
- Knowledge of radio procedures and etiquette.
Person Specification:
- Verbal and written English is essential due to the nature of the business
- Flexible and adaptable
- Good team player
- Attention to detail
- SIA Licence and First Aid qualification is essential
