Security Officer

This is a physically demanding and varied role based within the security team, but also giving support to our accommodation team. The role is covered by a team over a 24-hour period and involves outdoor and office-based tasks, including working in the CCTV control room.It’s essential in this role to ensure the security and health and safety of the site, assets, employees, and guests always in adherence with all Castle daily and incident management policies and procedures. Working closely with the management team, you’ll lead by example, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service and interaction with staff and guests.
We have a permanent and fixed-term hourly paid roles available. The rota is a 4 on 4 off basis, working 7am – 7pm, including weekends covering 365 days a year (including Christmas day). We also require flexibility for 24hr support.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A sound level of security experience.
- A valid SIA Door Supervisors Licence.
- Full UK driving license.
- Excellent customer service skills and able to remain calm under pressure.
- Effective interpersonal skills, being approachable with a helpful manner.
- Able to react quickly in complicated situations.
- Effective functional English skills.
- Due to the nature of the role, we require candidates to be aged 18 or over.
