Social Work Assistant
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Cardiff to assist with the appointment of a Social Work Assistant, on a 2.5-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £14.93 - £18.80 per Hour
Responsibilities:
To arrange and monitor appropriate services in line with individual care plans.To provide advice and practical help.
To liaise with voluntary and statutory agencies.
To complete annual care plan reviews and or reassessments.
To participate in team meetings and duty rotas.
Qualifications:
Educated to GCSE standard or equivalentNVQ/GNVQ Level 3 or 4 in Social Care
Experience of working with older people and adults with a physical disability through direct contact in a working environment.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to make relationships with se5rvice users and carers.
