Accounts Assistant - Huddersfield

Reporting To Financial Director

£28,000

Monday to Friday

As an accounts assistant you will be responsible for the Purchase & Sales Ledgers and posts regular payments and receipts. You will also reconcile the companies multi currency bank accounts including importing payments for salaries and 3rd parties.

Key Responsibilities

Registration & Verification of supplier invoices
Allocation & matching of costs to supplier invoice items
Supplier statement reconciliations
Twice monthly supplier payment run in GBP & EURO’s
Regular bank reconciliations in GBP & EURO’s
Intercompany invoicing
Credit control, communication with customers over the phone & emails chasing unpaid invoices
Allocating customer receipts & matching to invoices
Timely and effective invoice query solving
New customer/supplier account set-up
Running numerous creditor & debtor reports
Manual invoicing when required
Posting sub-contractor payments to the bank
Importing driver and office staff salaries to the bank
Inter-company clearing account reconciliation

Posting reconciliation journals
