Job Description

The Credit Controller will be responsible for:

  • Manage and maintain client accounts
  • Ensure timely debt collection and minimise financial risk.
  • Prepare accurate reports on credit control activity.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to promote prompt payment.
  • Work closely with the accounting and finance team to streamline processes.
  • Adhere to all relevant financial regulations and company policies.
  • Contribute to the team's objectives and support colleagues when required
  • Negotiating payment plans and setting up terms and conditions
  • Other ad hoc tasks to support wider finance team

The Successful Applicant

A successful Credit Controller should have:

  • Previous experience within a credit control or finance role.
  • Proven experience managing client accounts and reducing outstanding debts.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • A comprehensive understanding of financial regulations and credit control procedures.
