The Governors of St Hilda’s wish to appoint an outstanding and highly motivated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work in Key Stage 1.The role includes working under the direction of the class teacher, with individual children and small groups, both within and outside the classroom. GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 or equivalent in English and maths and an NVQ (Level 2) or similar qualification is essential.
St Hilda’s is a friendly school with a dedicated and supportive team of professionals. It is a Christian school at the heart of the community in Prestwich, with enthusiastic pupils who are eager and ready to learn.The post is temporary due to the maternity leave of the post holder.
The hours of work for are 32.5 per week, term time only, from 8.30am-3.30pm, worked in accordance with service requirements.
