1st and 2nd Line IT Technician
The Role
Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is seeking two proactive and customer-focused 1st and 2nd Line IT Technicians to join our IT Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality technical support and play a key role in maintaining and improving IT services across the college.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:As a key member of the IT Services team, you will:
Provide outstanding first and second-line IT support to staff and students.Diagnose and resolve IT incidents, escalating where necessary.
Manage service requests, conduct IT changes, and maintain accurate system records.
Assist with IT asset management, including audits, provisioning, and installations.
Contribute to IT projects and provide technical guidance where required.
Mentor junior apprentices and maintain operational knowledge base articles.
Ensure IT security is prioritised across all activities.
