Skilled Leakage Technician role:

• As a Skilled Leakage Technician, you'll effectively minimise water loss by identifying and resolving operational issues, including proactive and reactive leak detection across the network.

Skilled Leakage Technician responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and recommend solutions to minimise leakage, ensuring regulatory compliance and client satisfaction through accurate leak pinpointing.
• Achieve leakage detection and reduction KPIs within designated DMAs.
• Attend R&M-requested excavations to assist with leak location.
• Provide training and mentorship to assistant leakage technicians.
• Manage general administrative tasks, including electronic timesheet submissions, weekly vehicle inspections, and defect reporting.
• Prioritise workplace health and safety.
• Foster and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues, contractors, and clients.

Skilled Leakage Technician requirements:

• Prior experience in this field is helpful, but we offer thorough training in water network hydraulics, leakage detection, and related aspects of the clean water sector.
• You will learn and apply techniques such as utility tracing, noise logging, and step-testing to gain practical experience in leakage monitoring and data analysis. A strong desire to learn and adapt to new methodologies is essential.
• Works well under pressure, meeting conflicting deadlines with attention to detail and high standards.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Efficient and accurate reporting.
• Full UK/Irish Driving Licence
