Social Work Assistant - Cardiff
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Cardiff to assist with the appointment of a Social Work Assistant, on a 3-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £14.93 - £18.80 per hour
Responsibilities:
To have an understanding of legal, policy and procedural frameworks for social work practice as laid down in the Code of Practice for Social Workers.
To work with individuals, families, carer groups and communities to help them makeTo assist citizens to maximise their independence and coping skills.
To assess needs, risks and options, taking into account legislation and other requirements, including safeguarding adults at risk under the Social Services and Well-Being (Wales) Act 2014.
To assess, identify, plan, implement and review the circumstances of individuals and their families and the need for procedural and legal intervention to meet their immediate needs.
Experience :
Experience of working with people with Mental ill health

This role requires an Enhanced DBS
