Social Work Assistant
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Cardiff to assist with the appointment of a Social Work Assistant, on a 3-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £15.00 - £18.87 per Hour
Responsibilities:
To work in partnership with individuals, and involved networks to help them identify strengths, needs and outcomesTo support individuals to maximise their independence and coping skills
To undertake assessments including wellbeing assessments and risk assessments with individuals and their networks, whilst considering outcomes, available resources, policy and legislation
To undertake non-complex capacity assessments
To make recommendations regarding packages of care to meet identified needs, considering the flexible use of all available resources to meet identified needs
Qualifications:
GSCEs including maths & English, Post GCSE level QualificationExperience of working with people with learning disabilities and autism

This role requires an enhanced DBS
