We are looking for an experienced and passionate Boarding Gap Year Assistant to join our team.

About the Position
Contract type: Part Time – between Wednesday to Sunday
Salary: Up to 21k plus accommodation & food provided
Start date: Immediate Start Available

We are looking for someone who has:·

An ability to assist the teaching, administrative staff and boarding staff in ensuring that the children receive care and stimulation, to motivate and encourage them in their daily lives.
Help with evening activities and being on duty from 6pm - 10pm (allocated to both houses as needed)·
Be flexible in all they do and should be able to work in a team, supporting the boarding staff as directed.·
Assist with the health and wellbeing and cleanliness of the pupils and the cleanliness and condition of their clothing.

And someone who has:

Experience in communications with parents across methods including online
Experience across primary schools as Matron.
High levels of empathy with the ability to provide emotional support and pastoral care to boarding students and adapt and tailor approaches to individual pupils.
Maintain confidentiality where necessary with ability to work as part of a team, proactive and ability to act on own initiative.
Paediatric First Aid Certificate/Qualification is advantageous
