Liverpool - Fostering Deputy Team Manager

Neway is looking for a Deputy Team Manager to join the Fostering Social Work team based with Liverpool City Council.

This role is starting asap, working 35 hours a week in an ongoing contract.

Pay Rate £30.38 per hour PAYE (equivalent to £38 umbrella)

Experienced Deputy Team Manager required in Fostering Families and Friends Assessment Service, must have proven track record in Fostering and previously worked as a Deputy Team Manager.

The role will include supporting the Team Manager to manage a diversely skilled social work team, supporting and promoting good quality practice and performance. The candidate will be confident in making clear and accurate decisions to improve outcomes for children and young people and maintaining stable foster care placements.

They must be used to working at pace with preparation for Ofsted Monitoring Visits and in line with our improvement plan.

Needs to work on site (Parklands) at least 3 days, with 2 of those days covering Reg24 duty per week – so will live locally within commutable distance
