KS4 Higher-Level Teaching Assistant – Salford (M27)
Teaching Personnel are seeking a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to begin working in a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Salford. This is a full-time role with a February start. There may the possibility of a permanent school contract after a successful trial period paid through Teaching Personnel.The successful candidate will work school hours, throughout KS4 classes.
Senior leadership require a HLTA who can provide small group Maths and English interventions when necessary. Therefore, candidates must be confident managing disruptive behaviour. Alongside interventions, HLTAs will also be expected to provide general support and one-to-one tuition when needed.This may involve working with pupils who have been excluded from lessons.
- Pupil Referral Unit in Salford (M27), easily accessible by bus, train or car.
- £85+ per day through PAYE (no umbrella company or agency fees) paid weekly.
- Full-time role Monday-Friday paid on a timesheet basis through Teaching Personnel until the end of the academic year.

- Opportunity to work closely with pupils with SEN and SEMH needs, making a real difference.
- February start following registration with Teaching Personnel.
A confident and capable Teaching Assistant with an understanding of Behaviour is required.
