Location: Eye, Suffolk
Pay: £14.50 per hour

About the role

A well-established care home in Eye, Suffolk, is seeking a dedicated Care Coordinator to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring residents receive high-quality, person-centred care, working closely with the care team to manage individual care plans.

You will oversee shifts, administer and record medication, and liaise with health professionals while updating the residents’ computerised care plans. Additionally, you will be involved in the induction, training, and supervision of support staff.

Reports to: Home Manager

Key responsibilities:

Coordinate daily care for residents.
Administer medication and maintain care plans.
Supervise and train support staff.
Liaise with healthcare professionals.
Organise shifts and ensure smooth operations.

Skills and attributes:

Experience supervising a care team.
Strong empathy and understanding of residents' needs.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Organised, detail-oriented, and methodical.
Flexibility with work schedules and responsibilities.

Education and qualifications:

NVQ3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it).
