Monarch Water has grown from humble beginnings of a one-man band in 1964 to where we are today – part of the world’s most respected pioneers in water treatment. We currently have an exciting opening to join our Finance and Commercial team as a Demand Planning & Procurement Manager.

As our Demand Planning & Procurement Manager, you will lead on the S&OP process, vendor relationships and procurement, whilst highlighting critical insights and trends to support the business the business in delivering excellent results.

What this role involves:

  • Appraising the existing tools in place, embedding them, making recommendations and implementing improvements.
  • Working closely with the Leadership Team to review sales inputs and forecast accuracy.
  • Determining optimal inventory levels based on demand and lead times to maximise sales potential whilst minimising working capital demands.
  • Reviewing existing stock and procurements KPI’s making recommendations for improvements and implementing them.
  • Owning procurement relationships, ensuring strong communication, robust ordering and that logistics processes and agreements are in place to manage inbound deliveries.
  • Identifying and manage obsolete and excess stock.
  • Managing stock requirements for new product launches, aligned to phase out of outgoing stock lines.
  • Collaborating with the technical functions, ensure all purchases for re-sale are technically and legislatively compliant to market and procedural need / demand.
  • Overseeing stock control function ensuring locations and inventories are managed and maintained correctly.
  • Working with the Production and Warehouse Manager to conduct regular stock counts ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
  • Ensuring and promoting compliance to company and procurement policies and procedures, enhancing as the business / operational need demands.
  • Developing a culture of continuous improvements within our supplier base and internal stakeholders.
  • Working collaboratively with the teams, across multiple sites and intercompany locations, to deliver strategic objectives.
  • Seeking to use and integrate intercompany trading as far as practical and advise of commercial R&O through those relationships.
