Job Description
Based at Monifieth High School, Panmurefield Rd, Monifieth.
This job is workstyle 4 - Flexi.

This means you will work from a variety of locations, working from council buildings, working in service user’s locations and site visits and you can work from home to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.
The Active Schools network aims to increase activity levels of children and young people by ensuring there are more opportunities to participate in sport and more people delivering opportunities in schools and the wider community.
An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual, with a passion for sport and physical activity to join the Angus team. The post will cover schools within the Monifieth cluster as well as having a focus on developing the offer to young people with additional support needs across Angus.
Active Schools Coordinators are responsible for developing an infrastructure to recruit, support and sustain a network of volunteers, coaches, leaders and teachers who deliver physical activity and sport before, during and after school and in the wider community.
This job is temporary until no later than 31 March 2027.
Internal and external applications on a secondment basis will be considered. You must have the approval of your line manager / organisation.

Requirements
You must have the ability to become a member of the PVG Scheme.
