1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

The successful candidate will work closely with pupils with autism and complex needs, providing individualized support to help them achieve their full potential

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to pupils with autism and complex needs.
- Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support the social, emotional, and academic development of pupils.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
- Help manage classroom behavior and promote positive interactions.
- Prepare and adapt teaching materials to meet the specific needs of pupils.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with autism and complex needs is essential.
- A passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications or training in special education or childcare is an advantage.
