Liaise with the relevant staff to ensure effective patient management and utilisation of clinics & appointments.
To handle any queries or telephone enquiries received in an accurate and professional manner, also support/deal with queries/enquiries passed by team members.

Allocate tasks and workloads to team members.
Manage own workload by prioritising tasks accordingly in order to meet screening targets and deadlines.
Ensure compliance with Trust policies and procedures and all departmental work procedures relating to screening service.
Ensure that an effective and efficient service is provided to meet the needs of clients, patients & staff.
Manage the daily activities undertaken by staff ensuring accurate data input.
Provide assistance and support to all staff and undertake any duties that may be required
Main duties of the job
The post holder will support Admin Co-ordinator and AAA Screening Management Team/Admin Team to complete administrative tasks for the National Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening Programmes and answering phones to assist with patient queries.

Essential & Desirable
Essential criteria- Experience of use of Microsoft Word / Excel
- Experience of handling phone calls from general public
- Able to manage own workload
- Ability to work under pressure / prioritisation of workload
- Good communication both written and verbal skills
- Previous experience in administrative role
- Previous experience in healthcare
- Evidence of delegation
- working in a team
Desirable
Essential criteria- previous administrative experience
- Knowledge of the AAA screening programme
