Job overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to provide accurate and prompt administration support to the Health Visitor Service based in Broughton Clinic.
Main duties of the job
By the nature of the duties, the post-holder will be required to maintain strict confidentiality and will be expected to deal with patients, carers, relatives, medical staff and other service users, using the telephone and in writing, with courtesy and discretion at all times.
Previous customer service and secretarial experience is essential. You will also have knowledge of Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word and Excel.
The ability to prioritise your work and be highly organised is paramount to this post, as is excellent interpersonal skills.

Qualifications
Essential criteria- English & Maths GCSE
- NVQ II Administration / Customer Care or demonstrable experience
- ECDL
- RSA II typing / word processing or demonstrable experience
EXPERIENCE
Essential criteria- Previous administration/clerical experience
- Previous administration experience in NHS background
SKILLS
Essential criteria- Good clerical and prioritising skills
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of hospital systems
PERSONAL QUALITIES
Essential criteria- Able to work as part of a team
- Ability to communicate with other members of staff, visitors and patients
