WHAT YOULL DO Participate in the checking and administration of intravenous drugs. Participate in the checking and administration of intravenous chemotherapy. Give and receive regular reports on the progress of patients, immediately acting on any changes in the patients condition, and reporting them to the relevant health care professional.
Work with medical staff and other members of the health care team locally & regionally to ensure that treatments are carried out within agreed policies. Co-ordinate the day-to-day running of the day unit alongside existing band 6 colleagues, acting up for band 7 manager as required.

WHAT WERE LOOKING FORYou will need to have: RSCN/RN Child Branch qualification. Previous experience of working in Paediatric oncology. Competent in the administration of intravenous therapy. Competent in the administration of chemotherapy.
