Radiology Assistant (HCA) | Imaging | Bank | Adhoc Shifts | Sheffield | Great Working Environment
We are seeking an imaging assistant to join our fast growing team.W e are looking for enthusiastic, responsible and dedicated Imaging assistants to join the team at Spire Claremont Hospital in Sheffield.
The successful applicant will be required to assist Radiographers to help deliver a high quality patient focused service. You should be able to work as part of a team, with good listening skills and an ability to follow direction and protocol in a busy and ever changing working environment.
To deliver our service, this role requires a flexible approach to work.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To work under direct or indirect supervision of the Radiographers
- Assist with patients' overall care and safety.
- Support the team to deliver high quality patient centred care.
- To understand and follow the hospitals policies and procedures.
- Acknowledge limitations and seek advice / support when necessary.
Who we are looking for:
- NVQ in Care or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in a surgical/ medical area within a hospital environment.
- To have an excellent knowledge of windows based computer software eg. MS Office.
- To have good interpersonal skills.
