Starting as CAM Maternity Cover TLR 1d £9,782 (FTE) and then returning to Deputy CAM
This is an exciting time to become a part of our team as we enter our fourth year of growth and success. We are looking to appoint a talented, dynamic and passionate English Deputy Curriculum Area Manger who is eager to make an impact, not just in their department, but across the school as a whole.
This second in department position has been planned for Sept 2025 as part of the school's expected growth. However, our Curriculum Area Manager (CAM) for this subject will be going onto maternity leave. That means the successful candidate for this position will have the opportunity to initially lead the department as a maternity cover CAM, before resuming the Deputy CAM role upon their return.This means that in the key phase of our school's growth as we open up our KS4 phase for the first time, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in leading a core subject area.

The successful candidate will:
- Set high expectations which motivate and challenge students in a productive learning environment
- Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
- Adapt to and respond to the strengths and needs of all students
- Be accountable for leading, managing and developing the RE programme across the school.
- Develop the intent and implementation of the curriculum to achieve the desired impact, leading students to appreciate the subject and its application.
- Be a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
