Typical day as Operations Manager- Collaborating with the Senior Operations Manager and fellow Operations Managers to meet regional targets and ensure smooth service delivery across Yorkshire.
- Leading the Housing Managers to improve efficiency and customer experience.
- Monitoring and improving operational performance, ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements across rented and leasehold services.
- Using your people management skills to motivate, support, and develop your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Balancing resources and workflows to achieve targets and contractual compliance, while maintaining Home Group’s core values of care, inclusivity, and integrity.
- Travelling regionally (and occasionally nationally) to meet teams, attend meetings, and collaborate with colleagues, while ensuring effective local leadership.

You have- Proven experience in housing management with a solid understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements. You will have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage, inspire, and develop a high-performing team while driving service improvements.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts in a positive way.
- Experience of managing performance, resources, and workflows to achieve service excellence and compliance with contractual obligations.
- A proactive and collaborative mindset, always looking for opportunities to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- A full driving licence and access to a vehicle, with the flexibility to travel regionally as needed.

Job details- Fixed Term Contract - 6-month duration
- Full time, 37.5 hours per week
- Hybrid working based in our office in Leeds
- Monday – Friday 9-5pm
- Regional travel required, with flexibility to attend important life appointments through Home Group’s flexible working approach.
