About Our Client

Our client is based in the retail / ecommerce industry and has grown significantly over the past few years. They are now looking for a Senior Finance Manager / Financial Controller to support them in the next stage of their growth. You'll join a team of finance professionals and report directly into the Managing Director.

• Preparing management accounts and overseeing day to day accounting functions
• Partnering with non financial stakeholders to develop budgets
• Providing forecasts and variance analysis
• Conducting financial analysis to assess the performance of various product lines
• Identifying and recommending areas for improvement and spotting potential risks to enable growth and efficiency
• Managing a finance team of 3 people
• Liaising with external auditors

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Controller should have:

• Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent
• Proficient in financial software and MS Office Suite
• Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset
• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Salary in the region of £60,000, level dependent on experience
• A hybrid work model, working from home 1 day per week combined with working from the offices in Liverpool
