About Our Client

The organisation is a leading Global business in the industrial/manufacturing industry with a significant presence in Warrington.

• Ensuring supplier records are up to date.
• Match invoices to purchase orders on internal system.
• Code and process high volume of purchase invoices
• Analyse accounts receivable and customer credit limit, prepare financial data upon customer request.
• Ensure all invoices are sent out to customer is received and follow up the payment closely.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly reports and year end reports
• Process expenses.
• Prepare supplier payment runs.
• Reconcile supplier statements.
• Support the finance team with ad- hoc duties.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

• A degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field would be beneficial
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
• Previous experience as a Accounts Assistant is essential.
• Strong numeracy skills.
• Analytical abilities to identify trends and opportunities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
• Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information.
