We're seeking an exceptional Band 7 CT radiographer to join our fast growing team to operate a two scanner CT service at Wembley CDC. You will be managing and working alongside a multidisciplinary ensemble of Band 6 Radiographers, Clerical Coordinators, and Modality Assistants, all of whom will look to you for guidance and inspiration.
Working hand in hand with the Superintendent, you'll be instrumental in organising and managing the daily list of patients. We won't just value your clinical skills; we'll rely on your organisational and leadership talents to keep our departments running smoothly.

Education/ qualifications
Essential criteria- BSc(Hons) Radiography, DCR(D) Diploma of the College of Radiographers or equivalent
- Health and Care Professions Council Registration
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- Student clinical assessors course
- Post graduate modules in topics relevant to the post
- College of Radiographers accredited cannulation course
Experience
Essential criteria- Up to date knowledge of general imaging techniques
- Awareness of clinical governance issue in relation to patient care
- Understanding of factors affecting service throughput and quality
- 3 years post graduation experience
- Previous experience as Senior I / Band 7 radiographer
- Experience of training staff and students
Skills/knowledge/ abilities
Essential criteria- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to teach and mentor students, more junior staff and new members of staff
- Ability to cope with conflict and complaints at local level commensurate with Trust policies
- Basic computer and keyboard skills
- Intermediate to Advanced IT skills
- Contributed to policy and procedure updates / developments
- CT and / or Angiography experience
